To register an entity in Nevada first register with the secretary of the state https://www.nvsos.gov/sos/businesses/start-a-business/limited-liability-company. In addition to articles of incorporation or organization, Nevada also requires a business license obtainable online at the same website. The process will take few days. The annual report must be filed there too. Nevada has no corporate of individual income tax but has a gross receipt tax imposed on all business entities, including sole proprietorships, with gross receipts exceeding $4,000,000 in the state. The tax year for gross receipts tax purposes, starts on July 1st and ends on June 30th. The rate ranges from 0.051% to 0.331% depending on the industry. It is one of only 2 states along with Texas that has no information sharing agreement with IRS and has no corporate or individual income tax.

Despite all advantages of doing business in Nevada, the companies with large share values may find incorporating pretty costly. The articles of incorporation start at $75 but can grow up to $35,000 depending on the total authorized shares value. The table below shows that.
